Relevant standards mandate the use of original crimping tools for quality assurance of the vehicle manufacturer’s products, meaning the tools and wear parts must be declared as Original Equipment by the contact part manufacturer.

This is the only way to ensure that the quality requirements of the vehicle manufacturers for crimp connections are met. Deviations are not permitted.
